Titled WHATEVER HAPPENED TO PUNK, the collection is deeply rooted in the London punk subculture in the late 1970s. A continuation from previous seasons, creative director Hiroaki Suiyasu Takes his love for the era to a new heights. Setting the mood for the collection, attendees were prompted with Jamie Reid’s rare “Sue Catwoman Dolls” portrait for the invite. During the early London punk scene, Susan Lucas, also known as Soo Catwoman, was a muse for photographer Bob Gruen. She was also connection to the Sex Pistols and have been known throughout the ’70s for her distinctive hairstyle and later a prominent figure who often showed up on the cover of punk zines. Credited as one of the creators of punk fashion, KIDILL embodies Soo Catwoman, referencing iconic and edgy stylings throughout.
